About Hackit Design
We specialise in NeuroInclusive Interior Design for emotional safety in the built environment that future proofs homes for health, independence and everyday wellbeing. We start with assessment, not assumptions.
Our mission
We believe every home should work for the person living in it.
Hackit Design is a UK social enterprise and non profit community interest company, registered under company number 15252722. We serve Greater London and will expand our reach once more specialists are onboarded. Our work improves health outcomes through thoughtful, evidence led interior design.
We envision a world where every individual, regardless of disability, neurodivergence or mental health challenges, has access to spaces that support their wellbeing and independence.
The UK has a crisis of inaccessible housing. Only around 9 percent of homes in England have basic accessibility features. Over a fifth of disabled adults say their home makes their condition worse.
Falls alone cost the NHS around £2.3 billion per year and account for over 4 million hospital bed days in England. Safer layouts, better lighting and reduced trip hazards are core parts of prevention.
Our mission is to change what good looks like, not with a quick fix product sale, but with a rigorous, caring, assessment led process. Every journey through the Hackit Hub starts with understanding.
